Our clients seek meaningful, lasting change and our compassionate mental health clinicians are focused on connection and authenticity.
We believe therapy should feel safe and supportive. We know healing doesn’t happen in a straight line, and we believe that with the right support, people can move from pain to purpose.
Our name, Rivercrest Wellness, reflects our belief that healing and growth require movement for transformation. Like a river carving its path, healing unfolds in its own direction and pace, shaping us as we move forward and helping you find your flow.
Our mission is to provide creative, clinically grounded therapy that empowers our clients to live with clarity.

My journey into counseling:
Ever meet someone and end up unintentionally sharing your entire life story? That’s me, the person people naturally spill their soul to. I’ve been that way most of my life, a natural-born listener.
With an undergraduate English degree in hand, I began my career at an educational non-profit before spending a decade in management consulting. Working on critical business initiatives taught me the power of adaptability, relationships, and strategy - all while relying on my innate love of connecting with people.
Consulting also gave me a firsthand understanding of the stress, exhaustion, and perfectionism that can sometimes accompany high-pressure careers. Success demanded working harder, pushing longer, and ignoring my own wellbeing.
I realized it was time to pivot and that I could offer support to people navigating similar pressures. I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary and founded Rivercrest Wellness to deliver my passion to others.
My professional experience as a therapist:
I began my professional therapy work as a volunteer crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line, supporting people through intense emotional moments. I moved into addiction recovery, leading group therapy and working one-on-one with clients navigating both mental health and substance use challenges.
Transitioning into private practice allowed me to hone my expertise. Today, I help clients navigate anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, and relationship challenges using a personalized blend of therapeutic approaches designed to foster lasting growth and resilience.
My mindset and clinical style:
I take an eclectic, person-centered counseling approach, blending techniques from eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and somatic processing. Mindfulness and humor are also central to my work. My goal is to create a collaborative, creative therapeutic space for clients to thrive. You can learn more about Our Approach here.
Outside the office…
You’ll find me exploring Denver with my husband and our two Vizslas Pepper & Rutabaga (our pup Pepper is in the picture).
We enjoy taking in everything Colorado has to offer - whether it’s kayaking, camping, finding the best place to peep the fall colors or checking out a new brewery downtown.
Thanks to my midwestern roots, I love almost all kinds of cheese and the occasional root beer. I am an avid reader, aspiring painter and enthusiastic yogi. I can’t wait to meet you!
