Our Story:
Rivercrest Wellness is more than a therapy practice — it's a refuge for individuals and couples seeking meaningful, lasting change. We provide trauma-informed, compassionate mental health care grounded in connection, trust, and authenticity.
At Rivercrest Wellness, we believe therapy should feel approachable, affirming, and rooted in who you are — not just the problems you face. Our work is guided by the belief that healing isn’t linear, and that with the right support, people can move from pain toward clarity, purpose, and peace.
The name Rivercrest Wellness reflects our philosophy: like a river carving its path through varied terrain, growth often comes through movement, courage, and support. Whether you're navigating anxiety, addiction, trauma, or relationship struggles, we’ll walk alongside you as you reclaim your peace and rediscover your strength.
Our mission is to provide clinically grounded, culturally sensitive therapy that empowers you to live more freely and to help de-stigmatize mental health support in our Colorado communities. You don’t have to go it alone.
We’re here when you’re ready.

My journey into counseling:
After nearly a decade in the high-stress world of management consulting, I became well-acquainted with anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism. Despite finding success, I was constantly exhausted and struggling to find balance. Healing from that chapter required significant effort, but it was deeply rewarding to reconnect with myself.
Inspired by the fruits of my own journey, I earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary and founded Rivercrest Wellness to use what I learned in service of supporting others.
My professional experience as a therapist:
My counseling career began with crisis intervention at Crisis Text Line , supporting individuals facing self-harm and emotional distress. I later worked in an addiction recovery center, facilitating group therapy and providing individual support in an intensive outpatient program. That experience solidified my passion for counseling and identified one of my earliest niches - addiction support.
Transitioning to private practice allowed me to broaden my expertise, treating anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues and eating disorders from a diverse theoretical application.
My mindset and clinical style:
I take a eclectic, person-centered counseling approach., blending techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, Gottman-based methods, and somatic processing. Mindfulness and humor are also central to my practice. My goal is to create a collaborative space where clients from all walks of life can thrive. You can learn more about Our Approach here.
Outside the office…
You’ll find me exploring Denver with my husband and our two Vizslas Pepper & Rutabaga (our pup Pepper is in the picture).
We enjoy taking in everything Colorado has to offer - whether it’s kayaking, camping, finding the best place to peep the fall colors or checking out a new brewery downtown.
Thanks to my midwestern roots, I love almost all kinds of cheese and the occasional root beer. I am an avid reader, intermediate pianist, aspiring painter and enthusiastic yogi.
I can’t wait to meet you!
